I might change my r1100s Boxer Cup for a K1200s..... is it a good idea. I have ridden all the new BMW's and I like them all. I have had the boxer for three years now and had twins for yonks...just fancy a 4 this time..

Any thoughts...

Rear Wheel Spinning

I had my bike up on the Abba paddock stand the other day when I was doing the service and i noticed that when in neutral and the engine running the back wheel was spinning..... pull the clutch in and it was ok. Should I just leave well alone or is my clutch grabbing a bit, don't really have a ...

New rocker covers..

Sounds like you need a set of rocker covers suitable for a 2003 boxer cup... ie the same as my one. I had to get a set after a small spill and I think they were about £50 - £60 each from BMW.

Same as me

I had exactly the same problem... I charged the battery and check the HT leads with a spare plug (couldn't get the originals out) and all was ok. Fuel had been in there for a few months but was still ok. Whilst pressing the starter, twist open the throttle a couple of times....don't hold it open but ...
