Rear Wheel Spinning

Post by a-jay26 »

I had my bike up on the Abba paddock stand the other day when I was doing the service and i noticed that when in neutral and the engine running the back wheel was spinning..... pull the clutch in and it was ok. Should I just leave well alone or is my clutch grabbing a bit, don't really have a problem when the bike is on the stand though... ie back wheel on the ground???

Leave well alone, bet it doesn't do it when the motor and gearbox are warm, worsed bike i've had for that is my Tiger but it fine once the engines warm up..

If you haven't already done it drop the gear box oil out and put fully syn in anything will do but i've tried a couple and prefer Mobil 1 but it ain't cheap.
