Gripperod,
I think Paul is sorting me out with the fat lids which I may spray, but I am going to keep the small lids just in case I ever sell the panniers.

Pannier lids

Hi,
I have just bought some BMW panniers, but the pannier lids seem to be a bit small, will these be City Lids?
My next question is that there are some lids for sale on ebay which seem to be bigger but they are advertised for a K series BMW, will these lids fit the panniers I have for a R1100S?
Next ...

Is this the same bike that is for sale at Cheshire Salvage in Macclesfield?
If so,just to let you know, I bought a GS1150 adventure from them about 18 months ago, which I repaired (sold it ages ago!) and it was fine, had no problems. Although people say that they are a bit expensive and will not ...

From what I hear they are interviewing this week and next week for staff,so I would not expect anything to happen for a few weeks yet. I'll wait and see what happens when they open, then will see if I can negotiate any deals for Boxertrix?

Remus Y Piece

Just been trying to fit one of these that arrived from Motorworks today, however got a slight problem.
The bar that goes across the bottom pipe that you attach the rubber bungs to appears to be to long? and will not fit between the lugs unless I cut it down. Is this a Remus flaw? Also I have a BCR ...

Bike Magazine

Page 58 - Short write up on the BCR.

Calls the BCR - "An Ultra-desirable limited edition motorcycle."
Funny that! cos I saw at least 4 on ebay the other week!!!

Also gives a rough price guide for a 2004/53 at £5000 - £5450

Also says BMW put heated grips on them - still can't find mine!!!
