Page 58 - Short write up on the BCR.

Calls the BCR - "An Ultra-desirable limited edition motorcycle."
Funny that! cos I saw at least 4 on ebay the other week!!!

Also gives a rough price guide for a 2004/53 at £5000 - £5450

Also says BMW put heated grips on them - still can't find mine!!!

Great price if you are buying into the bike :D

Heated grips are for big Jessies

BCRs are great bikes, but will ultimately cost a lot more to maintain due to the expensive add-ons.

Best route is like Ianc53 has done - load an "S" up with all the goodies that will sell later. :thumbleft:

...call it cheap ; I saw this June '04 red/white/blue for sale here in Holland. With Wilbers, Staintune, a few CF bits, etc.etc. 10.000 miles, mint condition, and at a dealer...

...price : 8.678 Pounds (12.950 Euro)...

There's a lot more 'wrong' with that bike than stickers missing from the belly pan. No stickers on the fairing or tail unit either. And painted indicator pods. Painted front mudguard. Non standard bar end weights and number plate hanger. Non-Ohlins rear shock (blue spring).

Any more?!

Didn't look at it long enough to notice them

What shocks did the 04 BCR come with as standard? Were they better then bog-standard?

The blue spring is from the Wilbers shock.

If this bike was from who I think it was, it is a modified, but most definately a real BCR.

...yep ; a real BCR, and modified with 'a few' bits and pieces...
...and the previous owner (indeed) removed the decals, and had some parts painted...

...and in real this bike looks superb...(IMO)

and doesn't it look so much better for being all 'stickered up':)

although I must admit that the white indicator pods look rather nice 8)
