sum result of mods

:D Hi all. New to the group although not to BM's. Got a 99' S, on which I'm having fitted a set of Laser cans, a Laser Y-piece, a Laser chip, a K&N filter, a pair of Lennies Inducts and a K1200RS fuel regulator. What sort of difference over standard can I expect? Mid-range is what I like so I'm hoping for some improvement there. Do spark plugs make a difference? Anyone got an idea of BHP and torque before and after? Any and all help appreciated..... Thanx Ian :D

Hi Ian

Hmmmm.with what you've put on the bike,if you had it on a dyno i'd bet good money that there's only 3 maybe 4 horsepower difference, what a dyno doesn't show,is how much better the motor spins up,less vibes and just generally more pleasant to ride.

If you look on the Pelican site the Americans spend hours spewing on about the same subject.

What Chris said. You wont get big horsepower increases but you will get a big improvement in drivability.

Make sure you get the throttle bodies balanced for smooth running, you don't want to spoil the effect :)

Sorry forgot!! Plugs??

Bosch FR6DP,no better than the big bucks NGK gold Paldium, but much cheaper.

As Lloyd said about balanceing, buy a TwinMax to do it.
