electrics

Just upgraded from Garmin street pilot to Zumo. Worth every penny. Problem is I have two bikes and the new power lead plug does not seem as robust as the old one. Thinking of introducing a conector so I can switsh mount between bikes. Can anyone recomend a water tight connector that I can fit to the end of both exising bike leads, to join up with the other end I can fit to the Garmin lead ?

I'd just use some jack sockets and plugs, not watertight but they are cheap and you can use non corrosive silicon sealant to seal them up..

silicon is a bit pricey but escapes me where to get the cheaper stuff from at the moment.

Waterproof plugs are around £5 an end and they all tend to be on the large size.

just my 2p.
