My R1200S project so far

Post by scottie58 »

I have created a blog on what I am up to regards rebuilding my previously yellow R12 - much easier for me than posting pics on the forum!

I hope you enjoy it and find it interesting

Looking good. I did my downpipes and as you've learned - a couple of minutes running and they're back to brown. I have a spare set of panels for mine and I'm considering a paint job when funds permit. Just had the rocker covers powder coated black - looks good. I'll have to learn to post pics!!!!!

It's looking good! I'd be Interested to see some wide shots of the bike when it's finished.

thanks for the positive comments, will definitely include some wider shots when all the panels are fitted.

Will put new black R1200S stickers on tail unit, then "live with it" for a while to decide if it needs any more graphics adding.

less is more!
