Picked this belly pan up cheaply last year, and not sure if it kills the looks of the bike or brightens it up. So after your opinions (or criticism ) just test fitted so it should move forward a bit and be couple if inches higher. Always liked the original union jack belly pan, and was hoping to save the original as I use the bike all year round.

Don`t have an issue with the belly pan, will look better fitted properly. I`ve got a similar one on my 1100, just think it would look better painted a plain colour(blue) to match.

Well I rather like it - better when it's mounted in the right place though.
Why be the same as everyone else when you can be different and individual?

Don't like - Ricambi Weiss do a copy BCR belly pan quite cheap. Might be an option. Paint it up and some copy stickers. Search for posts by Boxerscott for belly pan and look in recommended products for a post I put up re stickers

Its your choice in the end, looks ok to me but then I'm no expert. Being a little different is why we have the R11 and R12's we have.

To clarify - my opinion was based on the colours and mounting position. The BCR has a great paint job and the design of the belly pan needs to be 'just right' to compliment both the lines and colours.

I had a carbon belly pan on my 1100S and thought it looked ace - but others probably did not.

That union jack design came from the BMW GB special didn't it ?

yep, it was from the original GB bCR , nearly bought one just because of the belly pan. having thought about it a bit more the graphics just don't flow properly with the lines on the rest of the body work, but the white does make the bike look less bulky. i'll ppost a classified later for it and go back to the original. I was really just having a look at it whilst doing an oil change

I kind of like it! It fits in with your rim tape. Needs to move slightly forward, and parallel to the ground, i.e. Nose up. Be different for a change, what the hell!? In fact, changing your rear rim tape to red might just assist in softening the flow of the colours.

Is it fitted the right way round?- looks back to front to me - but I do wear glasses.
There would appear to be a surfeit of prolixity and sesquipedalian content today please do not use a big word when a singularly un-loquacious and diminutive linguistic expression will satisfactorily accomplish the contemporary necessity
