New Garage

Post by GRAgusta »

The Joys

We are now homeless, we have moved out of our most recent home in UK. We still have a home in Trinidad ... for a while, but all of our belongings in UK are in a van .... including the little van ... containing four motorcycles and all of our diving equipment.

Today I was in my next garage planning where the ground anchors need to go .... so much to think about .... shame I cannot find a BMW garage mat.

Clearly not sleeping in a sleeping bag under a bridge. But I am in UK for 12 days to move out of the old house and move into the new one. In the hire car I have made 23 trips to the tip, and this weekend we are living in a B&B untill we have access to the new house to unpack ... on Tuesday 7th July I report to work in Trinidad ... so for us it is a busy time ... and today I feel homeless. :)

It is madness, I feel your frustration. It is taking me a long time to get things organised. Ebay and search for BMW pit mat, should be about £40 instead of the HP thingy from BMW for over £200.

I'll be surviving on rubber matting over the half of my new garage - where the bikes live. Will also be painting the lower 1m of the plasterboard in a mid-dark grey.

Concrete paint is fine for floors, but bike tyres (sports - especially) will lift it in little ovals wherever you park the bike.
