Nu2beemers;it's easier not to have a centerstand???Of course especially checking for oil, servicing the bike, parking it where you don't have much room or changing a tire on the road where a dealer doesn't have a BM specific paddock stand. All this to save maybe 2 pounds,I'll understand... [quote]

Servicing, checking the oil..I use a paddock stand!
Parking where there is not much room...I don't as I value my bike!
Road side tyre change - granted...but I do have roadsde recovery

Saving two pounds....priceless

And besides that, I have a Boxercup, complete with bellypan, so can't have a centre stand

At the end of the day...........................................it gets dark

No, thats not it! What I ment to say was 'you pays your money and takes your choice'. There is not point wishing for something that does'nt exist.

"There is no point wishing for something that doesn't exist"
Man,you must lead sheltered lifes...A man needs dreams...
Paul,I got 190 miles from a tank once too because it was late on a weekend and far away from home and the next gas station far away...
But then I could have ridden faster on a R45 with 27 hp...
No 24 liters would be good to go 200 miles without holding back!
Anyways let's see what they might turn the R1200S into if they learned their lesson after their HP-Sportportsportbike shows up later this year...
It has a 23 liter tank which is already a good start. If they offer bags, centerstad, rack and dualseat as options I'll buy one regardless of already the HP - High Prize...
Because it would be 2 bikes in one!
Sportbike and Tourer like the old S but with 138 horses... :!:

Or just light another one...
Gas,grass or ass, nobody rides for free...
As for the R1200S?Hopefully with a longer options-list for 2008!

Personally, I couldn't give a flying one what happens to the R1200S after autumn, I've already got mine.

It is perfectly ok to dream about what you would like have.

It is not ok to continuesly whine about something you can have, but not want to have.

That's what little crybabies do when they get a lollypop and wanted bubblegum.

And that pretty much describes your behavior. Grow up.

Yes sir!Herr Dutchman...
What are you in real life,a teacher?
Hey it was a legitimate question.
If in autumn the HP High Price real Sportboxer comes out and the R1200S is no sports-tourer because it is a sportsportsport-bike than maybe they upgrade the R1200S to a sportstourer because the HP will be the sportsportssports-bike...
Stoney,spark it up...
Anyways maybe one day the R1100S gets a worthy successor.
Hope dies last...

I might if I understood a single word you are on about.

2 out of 10 for English Language, must try harder. Easily distracted by random and irrelavant thoughts.

Thread unsubscribed, I really am bored of wasting my time clicking the link for this thread.

Not even close. And we don't use 'Herr' in Holland and doing so has quite negative feel for a Dutchman. But you already knew that.. ;)

Yo BMW-Fahrer

What are you in real life - an ARSE??

Get yourself over here and I'll happily show you why people buy crappy jap sports bikes. Best of all, I'll give you a fighting chance, and do it on a GS.

Archie, speaking of which and ignoring BMW fharty arse,
Suspension settings on a GS 1200 for fast road use?

I found the front end extremely soggy today and wound the spring from setting one to four but now maybe its a bit too hard.
What have you got the rear prload at? What are all your settings?

BMW FHARAHARAHAR whatever you're called, get a bloody life you idiot.
