Help / Advise needed please

Hi,
Can anyone tell me please of there were any major changes between the 1998 models and the 2003?
My boxer cup 03 has been mashed up quite a bit but i have access to spares from a 98 "s".... I am looking at bits such as the frame, subframe, levers, clock brackets etc....
Anyone any info pls?

Hi PB - that's me with the breaking S - it was Julians bike until recently. Can't help you with advice re changes etc - I've got a 2000 model and the bits 'look' no different to mine, but I'm not 100% sure

Differences between '98 and now...

Brakes (bigger rotors and larger calipers '00 onwards)
Suspension lengths & torque arm lengths change by the hour but all shocks carry exactly the same damping rates
Same frame
Same sub-frame
Same wheels (in the 2 sizes obviously)
Different Motronic box from '00 onwards - same spec but different fit; Twin spark no doubt different again
Oh...and the mirrors now fit on the 'bars.

Apart from that they're all the same - any stuff about 'uprated suspension' on the Sport and another 10bhp blah blah is purely journo's not knowing their arses from their elbows.

The bit's you're after will be fine - hope you get sorted ok
