(that's the same price I offered members in another thread here; I could bypass retail channels. UK retail price is likely to be significantly higher)

Bit steep for me at the moment but i'll bare it in mind as my brakes (2003 r1100s) are poor. I can see this bike could easily become a money pit.
All problems can be fixed with the correct application of a big enough hammer.

My oil vent relocation operation has worked. At first I didn't think it had, due to the fact I had to add ½l of oil on my Eifel trip last week, but today and 500km later it was almost on top, whereas I had filled to midpoint.

Quick math shows I used approximately 125cc of oil in over 1600km, which results in about 1l per 12,000km. Which I think is very nice. :)

Have you more detail on why you relocated the oil vent line and what is involved to do the deed.

Good job on that belly pan, very yellow but looks the part and a great finish.

It was said on PP that removing the vent from the airbox could reduce oil usage. So I tried and it seems to work. :)

I just disconnected it from the airbox, plugged up the hole and used a Honda engine vent filter at the end of the hose. Pretty simple operation really.

I know that once you explain what or who "PP" is, I will feel a right dick.
