Meta M357TH

Post by craigtvw »

Having fitted many Thatcham approved systems previously, I have purchased via Ebay a Meta M357 TH bike alarm system without any wiring instructions.

Does anyone have access or a copy of the wiring instructions to suit a 1999 R1100S? (or standard wiring instructions would do)

many thanks

found this:

sales literature

However if you can give me a full model ident I might be able to get the full installation instructions sent to me and forward onto you using my unofficial trading name (Vincent Restorations). It's worked already once ;)

Excellent. :D

The complete model is: (number adjacent bar code in brackets)
M357 TH (P5526F)
Looks like magnetic reed switches c/w two large diodes: B.ACC.M357 THATCH (XG1E75)
Indicator LED: BUSTA ACC MOTO2000 (XG1E33)

and I'm not too fussed about the formal Thatcham approval, I just want a combined alarm imobilser that works!

thanks

oh, an as I don't like their bit about Honda of Salisbury being "Trained engineers" (been there many times, pissing grease monkeys wont touch any of my bikes), I replied as follows:
Cheers for the recommendation, but I'll think I'll use my MoD Apprenticeship in Avionic Electronics and an HNC in Electronic Engineering to determine the wiring then ;o)

Regards

Rob Vincent
I thought about putting the boot in about being three times over qualified but thought twice about it :D
