OK, I've sold my Fireblade and am actively searching for a Boxer Cup or a specced up R1100s(s). I have tried to get onto the Boxertrix site but for some reason the administrator has not activated my application and nor does he return my emails. If anyone is also on that site could they have a word please. I have registered as f90x there too.
I have a question that I shall also post in technical but... Does anyone know if the 2nd series Boxer Cup can be lowered as I only have a 31" inseam and these bike appear to be made for 7' tall aliens.
Ta

Hi Graffiti,
Do you have any contact details for this chap, or can you post a link to his posting on the other forum please? We have recently been plagued by spam registrations on the site and it's possible that he was inadvertantly deleted in that cleanup operation...
Cheers,
Paul

You really need only two tools: WD-40 and duct tape. If it doesn't move and it should, use WD-40. If it moves and shouldn't, use the tape.

I have reset the registration system so that new users can self register once more, now that I seem to have successfully modified the registration code to stop the flood of spamming robots (famous last words
). Anyone registering now should be able to automatically create an account without having to wait for one of those lazy admins to authorise them
Cheers,
Paul

To da management......things still aren't working properly guys; I've been contacted directly by a new wanna be member (Steve) who says he can't get the membership to work.
I've left voicemail on Paul's phone regarding the matter, and Steve says he's emailed Gromit on f9 addy with no response.
What's the score please?
Bailey.

Bailey,
Gromit is out and about in Yorkshire, hence his lack of a response, I guess. I have not received a voicemail from you about this. I'll PM you my mobile number.
I've just checked the registration process by creating a new account successfully for the new user "Tess Tickle". This is what I did:

Note the cunning new "Authorisation Code" question, for which the only allowable answer is "BMW" in upper case. This question is designed to stop the spamming robots which have plagued our site in recent months.
Once you have filled in this screen and hit the submit button at the bottom of the form, you should see this screen

You then go to your e-mail where you should have an e-mail from Richard at f9 with a link which you click on to activate the account, which should then take you back to the site with this screen:

You can then go to the home page and log in.
The only Gotcha's I can think of is that Steve has either miss-typed his e-mail address or has attempted to create an account in the past and the e-mail address he used is still in use with the old unactivated account.
You can get Steve to contact me using the e-mail address webmaster@boxertrix.com if he is still having problems.
Cheers,
Paul
