Hi. I recently bought a cd wokshop manual on e-bay for about a fiver. I found it to be very good and fully serviced the bike from it. Geoff.

bullit,

As regards the workshop manuals on Ebay, I have bought a few for different bikes and they have been very good. Although you might be able to download but I can't comment on that.

As regards CHIP's (not the food kind) you will need to open the Motronic's box and look in the bottom left hand corner, that is where the CHIP is located. If it is a BMW one it will say as should any other make.

As regards ferries please try David HIGGS at Alsports Logistics on 01873 859500 he is very good and helpful and is cheaper than booking direct.

I've been running the same remus system for three years now and the bike has no problems with it and the standard chip, though I have added an sjpowerfilter and lennies which make it breathe more easily and a bit louder. My only gripe with it is that there does seem to be a bit less power at the bottom of the rev range, Though I hope to cure/reduce this by disconnecting the O2 sensor when I next have all the plastic and tank off. A PCIII would be an even better option but can't stretch the finances to one yet. SJBMW website has the dyno charts that show what differences these mods will make using the Remus system,

Henry
