Well went back to hospital yesterday (Thursday) and the achillies has shown no sign of improvement so I am now sporting a full length cast with me foot at a weird angle in an attempt to aid repair. At least its sunny outside 8)
To all those that are going - enjoy Burton - I shall raise a glass in your direction tonight and tomorrow night and I shall be sure not to fall over afterwards :D

Well here is the update - went back for my check up that I have weekly since the accident and the state ofmy leg was not improving and the pain was getting worse. I insisted that all was not right nd had an unltrasound scan. This has revealed a fracture in the ankle joint and a fracture in the heel as well as the damage to the achillies tendon. Back in plaster again. :(

Sheeyit - that's bad news Keith. :(

Hope it mends quickly. :)

If it's any consolation, my ankle's still not right after my Streetrod fell on it - bruising's now all gone (just about) and the movement's fine but it still aches like billio and still won't bare my weight for more than a few seconds. Don't want to get it x-rayed until after this weekend for fear of them sticking it in a pot and rendering me bike-ridingless. :(
