Anyone Used An INFORAD?

Post by bustergut »

Has anyone fitted and / or used an INFORAD? (I mean the bike model not the car model) - speed camera warning device that works by GPS.

See www.gpsinforad.co.uk/bike and http://www.datatool.co.uk/consumer/prod ... ct=inforad

Did it work well and can you recommend it?

Any comments welcome,

You're in luck:

See my post at
http://www.bmwridersscotland.com/bullet ... .php?t=743

Which describes it pretty well. I think they are the dogs wotzits, to be honest. Only problem with the likes of the R1100s is where to stash the module/adaptor which is under the pillion of the Daytona.

Can't praise it high enough.

Blackal

Thanks a lot for your very helpful reply.

BTW have you had any trouble registering or updating your Inforad?
See http://www.pocketgpsworld.com/modules.p ... ht=#125037
(although that seems to be discussing the car version of Inforad).

Thanks again,

Thanks for the PM Al

It's currently on the mental list headed 'I fancy one of them' and not 'I must have'. So many gadgets, so little spare cash
