Admire your tastes in bikes there Stuart! Welcome.
Lots of great info in the archives for perusing with a coffee.
Ebay has the items you are after from time to time. I'm a big fan of the BMW panniers, but on my S I have fabric throw overs which I find great! Mostly because my bike came without the 'real deal'!

Welcome to the site.

Tips? Well if you haven't owned a Beemer before check the Oil weekly WOF.
Don't bother warming it up unless you want Open Wallet Surgery at your local Stealer.
Take time to read some of the suggestions on this site, and view the Pelican site for the laughs! (And to be amazed at how much money those yanks seems to have! Their garages are bigger than my house  )

Other than that, you won't be dissapointed! :P
