Picked it up from Grantham enduring severe sidewinds up the A1. Then rode across to Shirley in Brum to have an alarm fitted, this time suffering severe headwinds. Then had to endure sidewinds from the opposite direction together with rain of biblical proportions on the ride home.
This bike had never seen rain until now and the power output is such that a fourth gear wheelspin at 70mph is easily induced Top gear down to 40 is no problem and the acceleration from here is still more than enough to get past dozy car drivers. In fact just using the bike up to 7k rpm is making some serious progress, start exploring the 11.5 redline and things go a bit warp speed.
Chris was right, the suspension needs tweaking to get the best from it.
But the best bit - Oliver had a ball on the back, the boy has no fear "You can go faster dad"

Forgive me father for I have sinned... ex S owner moved onto pastures new with four cylinders and a chain... and back to a twin, albeit in a V.

It's here.
Should be interesting to see how long it sits in their showroom. The salesman seems to think it'll sell quickly... hmmm, we'll see.
They'll make a nice profit at that price but having seen an '03 go from SPC for £3995 I'll be surprised if it does.
