R1200S hugger

Postby Wilsonsp2 » Sat Oct 03, 2020 5:31 pm

Hi! New member here: after 25 years of Honda sports bike ownership I’ve bought a R1200S to keep my Fireblade company, and to help my ageing knees. It needs a hugger, but the prices of new ones mean I’m looking for a used one. Does anyone have one or know of one, please? I’m told Ilmberger are the make to have but I’d welcome any advice and suggestions, thanks.

All the best, all.

welcome. The Ilmberger is a good hugger but even at second hand prices they ain't cheap. You could try FF Carbon - their prices are considerably cheaper than Ilmberger plus they do carbo/fibreglass mix which is cheaper than full carbon

Just checked - they don't do the hugger

Puig do one but I think Ilmberger still looks the best

I’d agree, but the Puig looks an affordable second choice at the mo!

I've not been on here for ages... just popped in to see what's happening!

I've got a mint condition Ilmberger. Bought it brand new. Covered fewer than 200 miles. Boxed up in the garage for the last year or so.

If you search under my user name an old advert should pop up. Can do more pictures if needed.

Cheers

Hi

Thanks very much. Managed to find the advert, and the hugger looks just the job. Are you still looking for £180 for it?

Cheers
