Good luck with the new bike. What did you go for as replacement? No need to hand indoor Boxertrix membership, we will still talk to you even though you have swapped machines. Turn up at any Boxertrix event these days and you'll see R1100S and R1200S are usually in the minority.

You really need only two tools: WD-40 and duct tape. If it doesn't move and it should, use WD-40. If it moves and shouldn't, use the tape.
A good choice, I normally ride with a friend on an 09 Tiger 1050, did 2500 miles with him last year through the Pyrenees with no issues and he certainly enjoyed the ride. Comfort was not an issue on the two 400 mile days and he seemed to be able to keep up fairly well through the mountains. It also looked good in the orange livery with top box and panniers.
