Hi Guys
Apologies, new joiner and haven’t introduced myself yet, so forgive the bad manners. Anyway, I’m after an R1200s or a Boxer Cup Replica. As standard as possible and ideally heated grips and ABS please. Full service history would be a bonus too. I’m in Norfolk but can travel within reason, but pretty time poor so not too far. Hope I’m not asking for the impossible and thanks for any help and/or mickey taking.
Best wishes, Martin

Re: Wanted - R1200s or BC Replica
Welcome Martin & good luck with the search.
I’m a returning member after a spell away & I’ve been lucky enough to bag myself a mint low mileage BCR (after a brief chain jerking session....)
There aren’t too many coming up for sale these days & it will obviously be easier to bag yourself a 12S, but I reckon the BCR is by far a prettier machine & an investment - that’s my input
Regards Neil.

Re: Wanted - R1200s or BC Replica
Thanks Neil, much appreciated. Forgive my ignorance, but is there much (any?) difference between the Randy Mamola bikes and the later RWB models? Is one more sought after than the other, or just a case of beauty in the eye of the beholder? And what’s a sensible price to pay - they seem to vary wildly?
Cheers, Martin

Having had both 11S and 12S, to my mind the 11S is far prettier and a classic, but the 12S is a far superior ride and dynamics.
The engine is a lot more responsive as well, with more grunt. But you pays yer money and takes your choice.

Thanks, just need to find one now. And sorry, ABS, or rather, lack of it is a deal breaker.
