bar backs for R1100s
Hi all. I have a non ABS R1100s and have raised the bars above the yoke. I had to lengthen and modify the brake hose. I am now considering bar backs to try and make riding more comfortable. My question is, would I need to make any more alterations for them to fit? Lengthen any more cables etc?
Re: bar backs for R1100s
My abs model had rapid dog bar backs with stock brake lines. I think because they put the bars up and back the line is long enough.

Hi and thanks for the reply.

Hey there Harri,
In reference to the RD Barbacks, it goes like this:
Bikes with Sport bars from the factory (below the top tripleclamp) that DO NOT have ABS, need the longer line from the handlebar master cylinder.
Only other thing you may want to do is loosen up the wire bundle by cutting a zip tie or two by the steering head.
the throttle cable can by adjusted as described:

All other bikes are good to go.
Really, moving the bars to the top yoke without the barbacks on your bike shouldn't have required anything...
Hope that helps.

What about cheap and nasty adjustable clipons like these?
