Short term/ Temporary insurance

Post by RSBowling »

Hi,

I have cancelled my new policy with carol nash due to them lying (sore subject)
Now I need temp cover on the bmw. The reason I need it is because I have a triumph trident insured through benetts and that policy won't allow me to add another bike!
This policy ends in July so I intend to get a new multi bike policy using all my no claims.
Does anyone have any experience with temp cover?
Any help be grateful.

Regards

Richard

Carole Nash are a bunch of crooks - you are well shot of them.

WHy not take out a new policy on the bike and pay by installments - then cancel when you want?

I'd recommend Cornmarket over in Belfast

Cheers, never thought of that! I will look into it, see what cancellation charges are. Good idea though, thanks.

Al, I think an explanation of why you think that might be in order. I've insured with CN for years and never had any bother and their included european breakdown cover has saved me on two ocassions. Just saying for the sake of balance.

Happy to elaborate - when I have time to catalogue it.
