New bike to me

Post by Britisherspy »

I picked up Skiddys' boxer Monday and rode it the 115 miles back home - very nice smooth ride in a lot more comfort than I'm used to on my GSXR 1000.

Today I used it to go to Liverpool up the M6 with the panniers on, interesting filtering with the touring lids on as I've never had a bike with hard luggage before. Still a great ride when the road opened up - like a ballistic sofa.

Came back off the M way as it was chocka block Southbound. Much fun but a bit heavy on the wrists.

Tonight my mate wanted to go to the Bassets Pole meet which I reluctantly agreed to as I hate the place - its full of crims, gangs, druggies and chavs!

Anyway, I went on the GSXR with the intention of advertising it for sale on the car park. Wow, its quick, light and wild! I forgot what fun it is cranked over with the front wheel skimming the ground.

Its for sale but I'll be sorry to see it go.

A challenge for someone there. Perhaps a North Korean ballistic sofa?
