S1000RR Mirrors

Postby Blackal » Fri Apr 01, 2016 6:35 pm

Got a pair of these little tinkers - on Ebay........ for £150 including the Sandbar brackets for the HP2s.

As-new condition - and a huge improvement on the "you can just about see - if you peer under your oxters" original mirrors......... :?

I balked at the idea of paying £300 for a new pair of mirrors

Then plug me back in..........

See if that works .....

Are the originals really that bad? I'd read reports but never spoke to an owner about it

They are absolutely hopeless.

I fitted spacers as a stopgap measure

but even they - don't really solve the problem.

I'll second that. You forget just how crap they are when you don't ride it for a while but it takes a split second to remember once on board.

Don't know how BMW got away with it? Unless all their test pilots are about 12 inches wide !!

Need to keep an eye for a pair of S1000R mirrors myself.
