So, today without much fuss we managed to agree a settlement value.
It was fair and reasonable and turned out better than I was anticipating.
I have already bought a replacement (just) negotiated on an ex demo 6 month old Fiat Scudo 6K miles with Snooze control
My bike will fit in the back and we now have a dual passenger seat so Bronson can join us up front.
It does not have the lump in it that the Dobby had (sadly) Hope the Scuddy is every bit as good as the Dobby was.
Thanks for the sincere comments.
In my experience I am grateful for anyone taking a risk with me.... I wouldn`t

Fiat Panda.
Fiat Scudo (with speedblock, pipe carrier, reversing sensors, reversing camera, tow bar, some new rust and Fake Plumber logo)
started out with nothing, still have most of it left.
