Could I suggest to place any gp talk here please?

Out of respect to those who won't be able to watch live.

Cheers.

if you are going to have a spoiler thread, add spoiler to the title.

Personally I would stay away from a motorbike website if I didn't want to hear the result of a motorbike race.

Well that's the first of two decided with the right result.

Congratulations Danny Kent, first Brit since Bazza to win a WC.

Well its a shocking bad day here with wind gales and rain, so packing the car with a few beers, home made scotch eggs and other goodies and heading to a pal who has cable tv.
I know I am going to be disappointed, but hey ho, fingers crossed rodent features Lorenzo doesn't win.

Conspiracy theorists listen up -

Was Marquez's block pass to spoil Danni Pedrosa's drive up to the front and then staying behind Lorenzo to the finish a tactic to prevent Rossi's 10th championship?

It has already been said on social media.
However a stunning ride up to 4th by the Doctor.

And boos from the crowd for Lorenzo just a little bit unsporting under the circumstances.

Hee hee. Makes yer think. All I can say is that if Marquez didn't have the bike to fight Lorenzo, how come he managed to fight with pedrosa ok?

What a ride from Rossi. Oh so close! I'm not into the idea of booing Lorenzo either.

Roll on next year.

MM did not fight with Danni, Danni made a mistake by missing a gear and running wide allowing MM to pass under him. Danni explained that post race.

Think I will be raising a glass this evening to a worthy Champion.

More Spanish domination next year.

Well done Danny Kent and Scotlands Mcphee a brilliant qualifying pace albeit a poor start.

Hope things can improve with Moto GP now the Rossigate has closed.

Some consolation for the Rossi fans in that he may win his CAS case.

In MM's eyes - he wouldn't want to screw up a pass on the leader in the race and potentially - title - when they are both going at full race-pace?

Fair comment. But he wasn't in that frame of mind in sepang!

I love the excitement Marquez has brought back to GP. I've enjoyed watching him from the 125 days. You could see the talent and sense the determination. It's just that I'm prepared to believe Rossi at face value in exposing something else going on recently.

I'm not alone I'm sure. I've watched "chequered flag" since and it seems even hodgy felt that Marc was "protecting" Lorenzo today.

JT suggested pedrosa might have earlier on had the wrong map configured. Dunno if that was the case or not. Apparently his board was showing a number which didn't make any sense, for a few laps.

Good race. Tense rather than outright exciting. A great season. The best in a while in my eyes.

Is Rossi now finished? Don't see why, necessarily. New tyres ahead. Absolutely anything could happen.

Has it? Looks like Rossi still has his foot in it.
