Bumped into

Postby roadburner » Tue Sep 01, 2015 3:40 pm

whilst out for a quick spin to cambridge to get very wet and not see a vulcan
I was heading back to the car park when I thought that someone was trying to steal my bike, after a quick double take I realised that I wasn't still drunk from the night before and that there were in fact two BCR stood next to each other. had a quick chat with the other owner who turned out to be Stivesvelo.
nice to meet you.

Glad it was quicker than my trip up your neck of the woods over the w/end of the 22nd/23rd it took me over 8 hrs to get from Exeter to Arnside, did 40 miles in first and second gear due to an accident at the thelwall viaduct and just heavy traffic the rest of the way, it was chucking it down with rain most of the way so glad i was in the car.

Just spotted this, bike looks much cleaner in the picture & probably the best view of me too!

Good to meet you, shame about the weather & the missing Vulcan, but a good day all the same.

I did have a good look to see if there was any difference between the bikes & as you said mine looks lower. I think it's that I've dropped the Ohlins on the front to the bottom end of spec. & the back to the top, which is as high as my short legs will allow, I doubt that I could reach the ground on the standard settings, but for you tall guys not a problem, the previous owner had it even lower!

Hope you didn't get too wet going home.
