EBC HH pads - which?

Having a bit of a job determining which pads I need for my bike. According to motorworks it would seem to be the EBC FA294HH. My bike is a 2003 R1100S with ABS (albeit now removed), and BMW written on the outside of the calipers.

There appear to be three main variants for the R1100S, seemingly two versions of Brembos, and (I think mine) Tokico.

The main EBC website isn't terribly helpful, so if anyone can help confirm I'd appreciate it!

Took my old pads out and using the helpful motorworks link (above) I confirmed that mine are the Tokico calipers, so use EBC FA294HH.

Seems like most other models use Brembo calipers, and they use EBC FA407HH or FA335HH for the Brembo Evo caliper. Visually these last ones look very similar to the Tokico pads, so it would be easy to mix them up.

New rears pads just turned up and weirdly they're a different thickness. Seems that apparently this is normal, according to a quick look around the web. Never come across different thickness pads before!

Front and rear pads installed - both ends probably took less than 15 minutes - that's the sort of satisfying bike maintenance I like!

Used HH pads a lot in the past and liked them, so looking forward to seeing how they feel.

I noticed that too. I think you'll find one side drags a bit - the rear caliper pushes from only one side?

The old pads were worn to different thicknesses, so it seems a bit odd. But I agree it's probably to do with it being a sliding caliper design.
