That's the same link to the Zard that I put up in my post Al :D
I don't follow every link

Chopping/changing headers/cans - fine as long as each is a separate replacement, and not say - The headers from a full-Akra - if you see what I mean.

But - I think you might pay more, getting a system in halves?

The original can has been likened to a "baboon's arse" on many an occasion..........

Anything would be an improvement

Thanks guys for your input. I will definitely be investing in a Zard in the near future.
Unfortunately it looks like i'll be getting new boots first as I have a hole in mine (got wet foot today :( )

R1200S Remus headers are now sold by Wunderlich:
http://www.wunderlich.de/shop/en/remus- ... ystem.html

As others have said, cat-less headers will make a bigger difference to feel & power than an endcan (but not look as sexy). They give slightly more noise too.

Also, some sort of remap/PC would help the power & delivery.

I was expecting a higher price than that - to be honest...........

I think the performance controller they mention - is the re-badged Techlusion Unit.

I think I'd go for a remap with those headers and a Zard Can..

Hello,

Took just 11 minutes to sell!

I don't think the hugger will be around long either...

That exhaust was a bargain methinks

Best regards,

David

It'd be nice to think that you had alerted someone on here, who was looking for a rear pipe - and they got it.

I would have had both exhaust and hugger if I had seen this post sooner. Ah well.

No wonder I can't find a second hand exhaust if they are only hanging about for 11 minutes :?

front pipes

Post by ted »

i have a brand new set of Bos front pipes in their box - never been fitted in the garage. Got them a while ago to replace the aftermarket ones on my R1200 s that are a bit tarnished and generally tatty. Keep thinking about either swapping them or flogging them - but i know if i sell them i wont get any more - anyone got a clue what they might go for if i did sell them?
