Brightening up my grey R1100S

Post by fossils »

I have a bog standard "grey" r1100s that I have wanted to personalise for some time but unsure which way to go....then I saw this on the web !

Where and how do I get my wheels blacked like those ? ...anyone know of any good panel sprayers ?

My brother had an R1100S in grey - IIRC he 'brightened' it with a couple of Maltese crosses.....

Not so keen on the overall look, but if you want your wheels done - I'd recommend Steve Turner here:

Wheels were Steve's business at Dymag.

Not sure how putting dark grey or black wheels on a grey S is going to 'brighten it up' :?

I'll swap your grey fairings for a set of yellow ones if you want to brighten it up!

I agree - I saw a Red Porsche Boxter today with Black Alloy wheels - it looked dreadful.
There would appear to be a surfeit of prolixity and sesquipedalian content today please do not use a big word when a singularly un-loquacious and diminutive linguistic expression will satisfactorily accomplish the contemporary necessity

The question has absolutely nothing to do with Rimmin`
Fiat Panda.
Fiat Scudo (with speedblock, pipe carrier, reversing sensors, reversing camera, tow bar, some new rust and Fake Plumber logo)

started out with nothing, still have most of it left.
