I take it you are talking modern belt drive SS?

Great choice. Most of the work you can do yourself. Pretty solid bikes and they handle and go surprisingly well. I had a 750 dressed up with super light seat and exhausts and it looked and sounded fantastic. Definitely an appreciating future classic.

Try and go for a 900ss pre injection. They were very simple , reliable, looked great and handled beautifully. Never liked the look of the injected ss's

One of my most memorable test rides was on the 750 version of the above,
I was young and skint then so didn't buy it, but if a nice one came up for sale now !!!

not quite Q this is a DB5R !!
Reading reading reading looking looking looking and Mr Bimota has a DB5R on his past list. Air cooled Ducati 1000cc - loads of torque only 153Kg Found the first production one over here used for further development so all panels carbon - originals included etc and it's number 001 Top Trumps!!

Reliable - Proabaly. TL1000S motor.
