Just in case anybody has had any doubts of fitting it to their machine

What pressures are you running?
And your front suspension unit?
I also have Pilot 2's, and just when I'm about ready to trust the front end again, it goes and gives me another (falsetto) UUUH moment, then I have to start all over again. Grrrr. Still have original suspension.
I've used pressures from 34-38psi. 36 seems abt the best. I weigh 125kg.

Real torque curves don't have a first derivative. :-^)
Thanks John. Normal road riding I run 2.2 bar (32 psi) front and 2.5 bar (36 psi) rear as in the manual. No problem with abnormal wear except the cupping but that is more to do with the suspension. Track days is 2 bar (29 psi) front and 2.3 bar (33 psi) rear. Don't go too low with the tyre pressures on the 11S as it is a heavy motorcycle. The tyre carcass is not stiff enough so higher pressures works good for me. I'm 86 kg without my biking gear.
Suspension settings will differ from person to person. The bike has the taller sports suspension (yellow painted springs) but not as tall as the BCR. It has done over 16000 mls on this suspension. Front 17 clicks from soft, rear 21 clicks from soft, this is for track use and for the road I back it off to 9 front and 15 rear (33 clicks in total adjustment front and rear, all references are from soft). I leave the damping for the rear set at 3.5 turns clockwise, I think. The limited adjustment of the suspension is a a bit of a problem. You'll have to go with what feels better for you. I'm starting to feel the shortcomings of the suspension. My choice is new adjustable units or getting it reworked by the guy Damoace recommends.

May I trouble you for some more info re your suspension Tannerman:
Are they factory shocks or an aftermarket brand?
Springs and ride height: I've heard that the BCR's are set to a greater ride height but can't find any more information. Can you tell me where I can find more on the topic?

Stock suspension from factory. The sport pack was an option on the earlier models, don't know from what year, and standard on the last production models that included the higher suspension and a 5.5' rear wheel for a 180 section tyre. The BCR shocks is actually shorter than the normal items (grey spring) but has the shorter GS torque arm and GS fork tubes to raise the whole bike. I'm not the best informed when it comes to the differences between the models but if you do a search on here and Pelican you'll find loads of info in as many threads about suspension.
A thread of the suspension measurements I took in trying to set the bike up. 39 clicks full range of the suspension, my fault sorry.
