I'm not a big trike fan, can't see the point, stuck in the weather like a bike, stuck in the traffic like a car :S
However, this does look a nice way to use one of those odd looking Hondas

The right Trike can make a big difference to some, I've got a paraplegic mate who's only way to ride is three wheels, Don't write them off

Handbag sir
Perhaps I should have written chapter and verse
Clearly, if one has been a motorcyclist and can no longer ride two wheels for any reason and still wishes to figuratively feel the wind in ones hair then they serve a purpose. I however don't see the point for any fully able bodied person. The woman in the picture would appear to be one of those, however having not met her I could not say for sure.
Trikes have all the negative aspects of driving a car combined with all the negative aspects of riding a bike. You 'will' get stuck in traffic and you 'will' get wet when it rains. In my humble opinion (and it is 'only' my harmless opinion) I think that they are pointless if one is able to ride a motorcycle or drive a convertible.
As for the donor bike, a Honda DN01, I have seen two since their inception (one on a dealer forecourt last week) so it would appear I am not alone in my derision for it and turning it into a trike really is the perfect use for it as its looks lend themselves to to something different and the auto box is perfect for someone who might be less able to ride a two wheeled machine.
Can we put the Louis Vuitton down now.

I see a guy on one of these most days on my way to work. He insists on it wearing enormous Non-Fango panniers that are not shaped at all to fit and therefore stick out and make the bike around 5 feet wide. luckliy he realises this and keeps out of the way but it is hideous
There would appear to be a surfeit of prolixity and sesquipedalian content today please do not use a big word when a singularly un-loquacious and diminutive linguistic expression will satisfactorily accomplish the contemporary necessity
