On the GS and the SMT, I have Michelin Pilot Road 3's. Having used a set of PR2's on the RT and found them to be good in most conditions, I can say that the PR3's are a whole 'nother level in the crap of Winter riding. Extremely confident in the wet in all aspects. On-the-power, off-the-power, in-the-bend, under braking. Really comfy and super stable over bumps too.
I got them in November last year and was very pleasantly surprised at their confidence when the weather goes south on you.
That crazy tread pattern seems to work very well at clearing the water and the construction is such that getting temperature into them is easy enough but still supportive of the immense bulk of the GS. The lighter SMT seems just as sure footed on them in the wet too.
Hot, dry summer use remains to seen though. The other thing to note is that, as with most Michelin's, they can be pricey. I dont mind spending money on tyres however - they are very important items in the scheme of things...
But they do look a little odd:

When the BCR finally get's it Wet-Weather build, (when I get my HP2S/S1000), PR3's are exactly the sort of tyre I'd be looking at for wet-track use ...
