I was recently offered a wunderlich bike lifter, but it was for a F800S/ST or K1200R/S so I declined. Plus I have now have a centre stand in the pipeline.
However, it got me thinking (wundering....). The design of the stand looks very adjustable - certainly the width is adjustable using a simple thumb screw on a sliding bar set up, and the upright parts have various holes in them looking like you can adjust the height by unbolting from the current position and moving up or down. Even the pins that locate in the bike frame look easily removable so could be swapped for a different size (if these are available separately?).
So, has anyone done this?
Can these stands be adapted easily, if you swap bikes or have two different models, for example?
Are the smaller parts available separately?

I wunder(!) if that genius R12 lifter could fit to your R11 - a lifter and a (garage) centerstand fused into one. Eats Abba (the stand not the band) for breakfast.McBoxer wrote: Plus I have now have a centre stand in the pipeline.

Resurrecting an old thread. I have always put the bike on an Abba stand. With the arrival of the hydraulic bench I found that the Abba stand is now a bit more of a hassle than what I would like to deal with. Enter Wunderlich S lifter. It has become clear that I have been a knob head for not buying one in the first instance. So very easy to use. BTW the bike doesn't have a centre stand and the low position fits it ok even with the sport suspension. All for £79 and odd pence delivered from Sporttouring.
The Abba stand will remain in case there is a future purchase that will require the use of it. The missus reckons this a highly unlikely if it is up to her.
