Ouch indeed. I saw a similar nasty on a safety brief about the correct use of fall arrest harnesses. The poor unfortunate chap had his groin straps too loose.
When he fell they instantly tightened popping his.....................well ill leave it to your imagination.
He was limping for a while, even after the 116 stitches had disolved.
I always make sure my harness is tight where it should be after that!!!

How on earth do you manage that?

Knew a guy who caught his wedding ring on the top of the barracks fence when climbing back in after a late night... Neatly stripped off his finger and by the time the blokes in the guardroom had finished playing with it, it was too late to sew it back on...
