Post by brookes745 »

Anyone removed a set of Oxford heated grips without damaging them?

... no

Not really being facetious.. Have removed them, but damaged in doing so. I wanted shot of them, so wasn't bothered. Thought they looked awful, along with the control unit, and one side was slipping, and wasn't happy with the way they were plumbed in.

.. used a stanley knife.

I have got them off but they do get a bit damaged - still working though!

I have fitted and removed them 3 times so far!

Loads of wd40 and a thin round screwdriver + plenty of patience.
