Ready for Anythin'.
Bottle of water to wash the flies off my visor and a sponge on my thumb to wipe the rain off.
.
Mr. Spock is my role model so be advised; I possess no (discernible) sense of humour.
It's all VFR (DCT) round here now. STILL missing my 1100s tho.

Bob Heath finger-wiper..................
Fits on the left index finger.
An absolute must in wet conditions with cars/trucks kicking up spray.
(Of course, now that Summer is here - you won't need it for another 4 months )

There is(was) a small visor-cleaning kit available - I had them fitted to two of my bikes.
it is a small black plastic pot, cable-tied to headstock or bars, which included an integral sponge and wipe blaed in the lid. Fill the pot with a mild detergent mix - and off you go.
Might not look too "sporty" - but invaluable when touring.
I'll try to find out where I got it and post a link.

[EDIT: Looks like it used to be sold by NippyNormans, but not anymore ]

Years back an old boy down the road used to have a tennis ball bolted to his 'bars with a slit in the top, sponge shoved in the slit. Reckoned he'd used it for years to keep his visor clean

It's not similar - the Nippy one can be used "on the hoof" with one hand.
(mind you - rumour has it that you can peel an orange in your pocket with one hand - Dave )
