Timbox, I have heard the same thing from some, and others claim they have used screens for years with no over heating problems. I did research it and believe that with 77% open area the loss in cooling will be minimal. Anything you put over the oil cooler will restrict flow somewhat. San Jose BMW us...

Here is the screen supplier I have been using for years.

The only thing is you have to buy a pretty good size chunk. I have a few pieces left. PM me and I will send you enough to do yours for the cost of shipping. (while supply lasts)

Hello Bill, Have you had a chance to test the new seat? I'm crossed between getting the Sargeant or the Corbin. Is the stainless screen readily available? D Man D man, The Sargent feels great and is much higher quality than the corbin. I looked closely at both. The Sargent is a little more money th...

Great paint job and oil cooler screen, Where did you get the bar end weights?

I've been looking around here and can't find stainless ones anywhere!

been working on the bike

Hey guys, Board to death as we are snowed in. So I thought I would post some pictures work on the bike. Did a repaint. I was going to do the stripe thing but it wasn't in the budget. http://i218.photobucket.com/albums/cc164/billpierces/IMG_0527.jpg Replaced the seat with a sargent. Also removed the ...

I average about 48-50 mpg highway if I keep it under 70. That is with 92 oct. Remas exhaust and K&N filter, synthetic oil in engine, trans and final drive. carbon can removal will have no effect, unless you over fill the tank and dump fuel on the ground. I would say adjust the valves and sync. t...

I have the short 12" version. High quality, but of course not a lot of protection from a short screen.

Why buy from the States when Sandbar can supply the same product ? Has he done something to upset you ? Yup, I live in the USA (but please don't hold it against me) I was just born here. I would be happy to buy from Sandbar. I just didn't want to hassle with overseas shipping. Since the whole 9/11 ...

There is a guy in the US that sells them on E-Bay for a good price. I bought a front fender from him last summer and it's beautiful. He says they are the same as Wunderlich. sandbar rear hugger?

I was thinking of buying one of the sandbar fenders that mount off the rear brake caliper. The mount looks a bit weak. Has anyone used one of these for some time as to test the durability?

They sure look cool especially from the left side of the bike

That be the same system I have on my bike. It does sound great, no problems with lean mixture, as the plugs read perfect. I did find out that I could not remove the bottom bolt to the rear shock with the pipe in place as the dual (second) pipe is right in the way. Also I was going to relocate the ug...
