Tried them about 5/6 yrs ago on a 1200 bandit ,as said ,you could choose carcass and compound. They handled and gripped pretty good, steering was heavier though because being a remould the tyre itself was heavy compared to normal, now the bad bit, had to get the rear replaced twice as it was cutting ...

Noisy throttle spindle

Is it normal for spindle to be noisy at low mileage,04 11S only 9000mls, ticking away good style even when hot. Is it a case of just out of balance or is there any other probs. Press on inside of spindle noise dissappears. :?: Anything to worry about.

Hi- insured mine tail end of last year,49,max no claims,protected NCD, £90 fully comp :D through Bike Team-recently taken over by equity red star ,i think.

Hope i've done the right thing.

After 30+ years on bikes i've finally done it. Got a silver 04 R1100s last weekend, sport model 9000 mls.
Always fancied one but for one reason or another talked myself out of it.
Not had much chance to use it yet but you could say it's a bit 'different' to what i'm used to, let's hope i've made ...
