:? I found this on the S-Boxer site. Bit worrying, cos I'm having all of this stuff fitted. Anyone got any comments? Ian....
If you get the laser system, do not use a K&N or the Air Induct. The shop I brought the system dyno it with a K&N and the induct. The result was less power then the system by itself. The chip is design with the BMW spec and it works best with some back pressure. If you get rid of the back pressure, you will lose power with the laser. If a shop tells you not to buy some parts, even though they sell. There must be some truth, it will save you about 500 bucks not getting the induct and filter.

That's why you need a K1200 fuel pressure regulator as well.

Interesting observations but...a couple of questions.

1. How can an induct affect back pressure?
2. The induct won't show any improvement on the dyno - it needs airflow to work.
