I have just got a Baglux harnes from Julian. (thanks!!!) The front lower fitings have a small metal clip. I cant see what this attches to. It looks like there may be a small bit missing, some sort of joining piece that goes round the front of the frame/headstock? Any one advise me what I may be missing?
The metal hooks fasten onto the fairing panels, Pretty much directly behind the fork legs. Do a search on here for Baglux and I'm sure there are some piccys of the offending hooks.

Ah I see now. Can't beleive they fitted metal clips to connect to the plastics! Was this ever improved upon in later models? The plastic clips used on the lower moutings would surely be better? I might give Baglux a ring tomorow.
Actually AC I think the one you've got IS the updated version! Mine doesn't have the metal fasteners, just 2 straps that go around the headstock...Much better idea in my opinion.

I have just spoken to Baglux and they were very helpful. They said the clips shouldt be a problem with the paint (not convinced!) I asked them to send some differnt styles of strap and clip for me to try. Darth, maybe you could take a pic of how yours fastens at the front? Maybe I could just do away with the metal clips?
