Oil Filters

At the moment, i switch between Champion C201's and BMW supplied, anyone got any suppliers out there that can supply the C201 cheaper that halfords, or any other pattern part fits?

One other place is Hein Gericke - buy 5l of Motul semi-synth and you get a free oil and air filter. The oil filter looks identical to the OEM one, even down to its colour and the 'Made in Austria' stamped on the side.

I'd recommend this lot. Got some quite rare plugs from them for the MZ recently, no problem - quick efficient service.

I used to buy the champion ones from halfords.I mentioned this to Darren at Motorworks and he let me have those HiFlo ones for £5.00 each.I do buy in bulk though!

ps.the ones that hein gericke sell are made by Knecht/Mahle...exactly the same as the OE units that have BMW on them!

Bailey, what sort of bulk are we talking about ?? 10 or more??

Motul 10w40 semi-synthetic: Good quality stuff in other words - dunno the separate cost of the oil filter but 4l of Motul + Oil & air filters is itro 20 quid.

Don't tell them I sent you.Just ask if they could better/beat the price of halfords if you buy a few.
