Ride to work

Post by Bruno »

Do you ever have one of those journeys to work when you just feel invincible? Where every car is just a chicane, every traffic light is pole position and the office car park is the finishing line?
Bike's now in the paddock waiting for the second heat at 5pm.
More sedate on the way home, m'thinks. I've used up today's ration of luck.

Why do cheap bikes never end up that way?

What is work? I gave that up at the age of 46 and now only ride for pleasure.

There's a guy in the office I work with - he has one of those flip top Astra hairdresser's cars - he was talking about MPG, and when I said that my car does more MPG than my bike, he said that was crazy, and isn't that the whole point of riding a bike to work...

What a merchant...
2011 Harley-Davidson FLD Switchback - yeah, I know. I've always wanted one though...
