Greetings Trixters,
Time to introduce myself, Chris in Newport Pagnell. I have been browsing the site for a long time now as a guest, but recently took the plunge and picked up my 03 BCR from Pidcocks Long Eaton. It's still early days but I love this bike already. Fortunately I have kept my 96 Thundercat for commuting and bad weather duties so hope to keep the S in the stunning condition it is now in. It already has the Y piece and Laser cans, so first things on my shopping list are carbon hugger and some sort of paddock stand. Also is there an easy way to tell if the bike has been chipped? An ex BMW mechanic colleague of mine tells me if it wheelies easy then it is chipped if it takes some effort then it is probably not.
Anyway any comments on the above, greatly received.
Laters Chris

Wheelies!! on a BMW!!!

The only way I'd get mine to wheelie (if I ever wanted too  ) is with a front paddock stand

Don't know the answer your question but I'm not sure I would take too much notice of your 'ex BMW machanic friend'. Prolly best to take the chip out and see what it says on the chip :?

Oh...and welcome onboard.

Welcome

I went from a Thundercat to the 'S'. Huge difference. Thundercat is (was) a great little bike, but the S has made me a much more confident rider.

I doubt you'll regret it
