This is my first attemp at posting a picture. I haven't taken any of my black 12s yet so the only other black thing I've got is the cat.
Here goes...... by the way his name is Paddy Cat and he's a rescue cat. Although that's really rubbish as I've not seen him rescue anything except other cats dinners.

Blackal you are obviously not a cat type person.
The look on the Cats face is OK you have woken for what? if it's not food then you may go.
Bob
Servant to 4 cats 2 of them are black and one that we dont own who comes in for breakfast and dinner also black.

Au contraire - I am a total cat person...............
( I would have woken it by wafting a prawn in front of it - gets its attention every time

Ok, here we go. How do I get rid of this fuzzy white stuff on the engine?
It happens each time I wash the bike with an appropriate bike cleaner.

Eeek! -
that's CORROSION!
You can't get rid of it unless you take the bike back to the dealer and get them to replace the crankcase!
Two choices - don't get rid of the Aluminium Oxide (it protects the bare alumumium to a certain degree)
or - buff it off, clean with a suitable etcher - and repaint it.
