Well here we are - I am nearly42 years of age, I run a successful business, I have a nice house, lots of toys, 3 dogs, a beautiful wife & a fantastic intelligent daughter with 12 Gcse's who is nearly 17 years of age, has her own horse & is generally a very well balanced individual - so why am I so F--ked off I hear you say.....?
Well you see it's car insurance time, & it's my job to provide seing as she (Paige) is at sixth form studying for her A levels - I have bought her what I consider to be a sensible car - a Volkswagen Golf Mk2 1600 Gtd 5 door. So I traul through the various price comparison websites & get some online quotes for Comprehensive cover on said car & consistantly Quinn Direct are the cheapest at: £1100 ..

So I speak to my broker who I get my company insurance & road risk policy from & he says that's a great price I wouls take that if I were you, unless it's with...... you guessed it......Quinn Direct---- blah, blah, blah. So I enquire how much it's going to be to add her on to my company policy - he says about £700 & to be honest you're better off doing that, because she will get 'proper' comprehensive cover --- so do I or don't I ? £1100 with a suspect company from Northern Ireland (allegedly) or £700 on my company policy - with the risk of loosing my no claims bonus in the event of an accident.....
Wo is me.
Regards from the chubby one - Neil.
