Fitting of BC racing Laser exhaust

Post by tyrap »

I'm about to fit the Laser racing cup exhaust with new chip (Pt No. 87.7010.Y) on to my BC '04. Can anyone comment on noise, power gain, riding impressions, installation etc.?

Thanks

Hi tyrap,
Power gain is likely to be near on zilch!!! But the bike will be much better for it. Not sure if your bike still has the cat fitted but removal of said item just makes so much difference, Less vibes, Better throttle responce and sounds much better. I'll keep my eyes open for you.

Regards Peter.

Thanks Peter, it has a cat at the moment....after that lot, is it worth doing an air filter upgrade?

tyrap,
After the pipe & chip its well worth fitting a Lennies InDuct and changing to an SJ super filter. Said items do crop up in the For Sale forum from time to time.
